Rest in Peace Tata Madiba. You will be sorely miss by many. May we all strive to become like you, and spread the message of forgivess, love peace and Unity. We have lost an Icon. Heaven received a new angel called Nelson Mandela. Fly high Tata!

A great man indeed. It is an honour for me to have met you in my lifetime, and I'm humbled that you were called to the Higher Service on the day I was celebrating my birthday. Lala ngoxolo Sopitsho!

Madiba Kev Morris Not possible anymore, but as they said in Top Gun, Nelson you can be my president anytime and glad you were.Strength to your wife, who stayed out of the media, but was first lady. Thanks for abolishing the whites only conscription for military service and would appreciate if the current government would thank those who were forced to go for doing as little as they could without being lockked up for three years. I would love to have met you and had a conversation with you but maybe still will spiritually.Proud of my daughter Jacqui Morris , who has been chosen as one of the 90 posters in your honour.Wanted my picture taken with you but closest I got was posing next to a picture of you. RIP and thanks for all you did.....hmmmm humble , I love that about you best..nobody has filled your shoes yet.....#6 at the rugby to unite us was a great moment.... .kev

RIP Madiba, a giant leader that taught us the meaning of forgiveness! You are an icon that inspired the world!

R.I.P. Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela. 1918 - 2013. Madiba is at rest. None of us privileged enough to have known and worked with him will ever forget his warmth, humility, sincerity and determination - or the ever present twinkle in his eye and the never absent sense of humour. Give thanks for a life devoted to others and recommit to realising his vision. Hamba kahle Mkhonto. The spear has fallen.

Thank you for teaching us that no matter what you believe or stand for, we are all one. May you rest in peace and know that you will be sadly missed by all. A great leader for a nation that loved you dearly. RIP

Incredible how a man I never new in person and have only seen and heard on tv and radio had the effect of bringing me to tears when I heard of his passing. A testament to a great man who incited a feeling of belonging to his family as children to an entire nation of 40 odd million. The suffering is over, time to take your place in heaven to take on your devine role as South Africa's guardian angel RIP Madiba Tata Nelson Mandela

A father,an african leader, a hero, a fighter, a giver, a role model etc. Ha ho na ya tswanang le wena. Robala ka kgotso Tata.

He could have been anything in this whole white world but he choose to fight for my brighter future love you soooo much for that
