RIP Tata Madiba. What an inspiration you were, not just to South Africans but to the world. You would have been so proud to see our nations unite today in honor of you. I pray that your legacy and what you fought for will never be forgotten and that each person aspires to be the best they can be. You worked so hard and had a full, long life may you rest your head in peace at our heavenly Father.

We as the people of South Africa, thank you for all that you have done for us. You have made our country live in peace and dignity. We are thankful for the life you sacrifice to make our life easier and happier. You have shown the world that it does not matter who you are - you just need to believe and take the risk because you can do anything. Many people would have love to have met you however we shall see you soon. It is your turn to rest, you have truly sacrifice a lot for all of us and you will always stay in our heart.

I had the good fortune to meet Madiba back in '92. I was blown away by his charisma yet 'plat-op-die-aarde' manner.To say I was awestruck when he shook my hand would be an understatement (if I could, I probably would never have washed it ever again LOL). And to crown it all, when he was due to leave he addressed each one (about 12 people) on our names - this after being introduced to those concerned only a meer two hours before. Truly a remarkable man, and one who has touched my life in a profound way. RIP Papa! -”Venisti, vidisti, vicisti”
