Project Purpose
- To improve quality of life through urban, social, economic and spatial upgrading in selected towns in the Western Cape;
- To promote spatial transformation and justice through citizen-centric development projects in towns and settlements;
- To promote safety and dignity through design;
- To promote integrated and area-based planning in municipalities; and
- To build partnerships with municipalities, government departments, SOEs and the private sector to achieve and ensure co-funding the above-mentioned objectives.
