No matter how sad or tragic life can be in the face of death, life always goes on. And that is what Madiba wanted for us... successful lives. Thank you for all you have done for us Tata Madiba. You were not perfect, but neither is anyone else. We are stronger now because of you <3 You show us that no god is needed to create positive change that affects the whole planet, just humility and love.

A great loss to our country and the world. An inspirational leader, a man who embodied a spirit which we should all hold dear and try to emulate. A true civil rights icon. RIP Tata. I cry tears as you rest in Heaven. xxx

Our paths never crossed and I never like so many others had the privilege of seeing you in the flesh. You brought inspiration to millions around the world. You were a very special person and being able to live around you in this lifetime was certainly a blessing. May your soul rest in peace and you will certainly be remembered in eternity. R.I.P. Tata

This morning on my way to work, I sat in the Gautrain, looked out of the window and your passing became so real to me. As I looked out, I thought, I am a 22 year old black female from the Eastern Cape. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree, had no hardship in getting my first job before I even graduated. If it were not for your sacrifices, and those of all freedom fighters, I would not have such opportunities. You changed my destiny, you brought light and hope for all the black children of South Africa. Your life had purpose, and you served it well. I aspire to give back to the community and touch lives the way that you have done. You are my hero. I thank you. Lala ngoxolo Yemyem.

I wish to express my sincere symphathy to the Mandela family, may God give you peace during this time of bereavement. Tata Nelson Rholihlahla Mandela leaves behind a legacy of greatness, unity and freedom for all. May your soul rest in peace. 2 Corinthians 1 verse 3-4, " Praise be to our God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."

Tata Madiba, thank you for showing even our old people what freedom is, what reconcillation means to every single individual in South Africa but most of all that we MUST FORGIVE each other. Thank you for showing us how special our children is and always will be, the passion you had for them was seen all over the world. You have ended your journey in life, but you will never be forgotten, I salute you. May you smile down on all of us and remember all the good memories. You are at peace now. Rest well my friend although I never met you I "know " you.

I respect you Tata for all you have done for the Nation. You lived to be an icon. Robala ka kgotso Madiba

May Allah SWT grant you a high place in Jannah Insha Allah.

Your sacrifice allowed many of us to achieve our dreams. Your forgiveness inspired a world to change. Your legacy will live on in the actions of your children Tata. Rest well. The call was to free Nelson Mandela. Today you are truelly free.

Madiba taught us that the only revolution that should ever happen; is a love revolution. We have to walk in a love-revolution. Love Tam
