Immensely sad that the world and our country has lost such a great statesman and shining light of humanity. At the same time I am happy for him, he's gone to a better place now and is no longer in pain. I never had the honour of meeting him, I just hope that we can live his legacy, may it not be forgotten. Madiba, we will miss you. We celebrate you. As you said before, "don't call me, I'll call you" :-) Much love, Shannon

Tata Madiba you have touched my life with your greatness and today I am sad to say goodbye to a true revolutionary. Thank You for enabling me to be a part of your legacy. Your vision, your dream and your courage lives on in me forever.

MADIBA, YOU have open many doors for us and we will always remember everything YOU have done for us is so many ways that we can tell your legacy to our little kids. R.I.P TATA !!

WE ALL LOVE YOU TATA AND WE WILL MISS U THANX FOR EVERYTHING THAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR US AS A COUNTRY WE LOVE YOU TATA MANDELA

I heard about our Madiba's passing last night & this morning it is sinking in. Tears for every statement & quote & remembrance. Today I am homesick & sad that I am not there to experience what I know will be a day of profound stillness, reflection, gratitude, love and above all new resolve for tolerance and a wake up call to the possibility of a better nation devoid of all the things we know are wrong with it. Thank you our Tata for your life well lived, with purpose and responsibility. May we all reflect and learn and change. I am sadder today than I ever knew I would be - you made a difference to me, to us all. x

To the icon I ignorantly fought to keep improsoned, who then became my liberator and hero. May you rest in peace and may your example of forgiveness and humility permeate every South African, so that we may continue to be an example to the rest of the world of a people once divided that are now united.

May your soul rest in peace Tata...UGQATSO ULUFEZILE

Today we are celebrating the freedom you brought us, the love you have for the black nation was and is still unconditional and will stay as it is for as long as we stay united.
