REST IN PEACE TATA, WE WILL MIS U THNX A LOT FR WHT U HV DONE FR US.

Tribute to Madiba We always knew this time would come, But you're never really prepared for the loss of a loved one, Even though we've never met, What you've done for us I'll never forget, Your legacy that u leave behind, Will always be in my heart & mind, For 27 years u were sentenced to isolation, Whoever thought a boy from Qunu would become the father of our nation, So brave and so strong, Even through your trials and tribulations u still carried on, Everyone in the world knew your name, And a few months ago when u fell ill we all felt your pain, The whole world loved u, There wasn't anything u couldn't do, U were a family man, Who wasn't afraid to take a stand, U loved meeting people & shaking their hand, U were a great man indeed, U loved helping people in need, Your birthdays u never spent alone, U always invited kids to your home, And u treated them like they were your own, U were extremely funny, And u loved giving charities money, People love supporting your 46664 campaign, Because there's so much power in your name, Your “Madiba Magic” is a part of our history, It helped us with our 1995 Rugby World Cup victory, Even in 2010 u brought the Soccer World Cup to our shore, That was your Madiba Magic working once more, We can't thank u enough for all that you've done, Goodbye Nelson Mandela Tata Madiba our African Son, Thank u for bringing our nation together, Your legacy & memory will last forever...

Madiba we will mis you rest in peace thank what you don for us

'n Groot seun van Afrika en vader vir ons is oorlede. Rus in vrede.

BEING PART OF THE LIBERATION STRUGGLE HAVE LEARNED ME TO ADJUST AND MAKE PEACE WITH THE CHANGES AND I HAVE DISCOVERED THAT CHANGE HAS COME TO STAY AND THERE IS A PLACE FOR ALL US UNDER THE SUN........HAMBA KAHLE ....TATA ....YOU WILL BE DEARLY MISSED

As a young aspiring lawyer I learned of South Africa's father and his legacy on foreign soils. It is with a humbling sense of pride that I have found myself in his lands with his people able to pay my due respects later on in my life. South Africans have endured the reality of a battle against humanity. One which I have been shown by the people that lived through this, was defeated and revolutionised by this man. He was a true leader and he fought for all of his people and his land. A transformation of change that I am sure will be an inspiration to many more. My utmost respect and heartfelt wishes are with the people of South Africa who truly understand the sacrifices he made and how the reconciliation he orchestrated profoundly set about maintaining peace and justice for all. Thankyou for the lessons. Nelson Mandela.

I mourn with friends in South Africa and abroad, burn a candle in memory of Madiba and say a prayer that we may continue in all kinds of ways to pay tribute to his legacy by ‘making trouble’ in the long and winding roads towards freedom, justice and peace.
