R530 million Louis Fourie Road upgrade officially opened in Mossel Bay

Major infrastructure investment delivers improved road connectivity, 325 work opportunities and R133 million in enterprise participation.

New features include direct broadcasts & road closures, quick camera launch, and direct City of Cape Town Integration.

A temporary walkway to enable pedestrians to cross the Smalblaar River between Rawsonville and De Nova is expected to be open on 7 October 2026.

The structured training programme is 8 weeks (extended over 8 months). One 5 day block week per month.
