This website is a Western Cape Government initiative designed to assist event organisers and grow the events sector in the province by simplifying the event application process and making it easier for event organisers to apply for funding from the Western Cape Government. We provide non-financial and financial support to event organisers.

The Western Cape Government aims to expand the events sector in the province and this website makes it easier for event organisers to apply for support. We connect people in the industry, share event knowledge and give guidance on how to organise successful events. Our online application process means there is less paperwork and less fuss. This “one-stop shop” has all the information you will need to apply for support, host and attend an event.

The Western Cape Events website connects people and encourages established organisers to share their knowledge and expertise.

Mushfieqah works closely with event organisers once their applications have been approved and ensures they comply with Western Cape Government processes. She also links with other government departments and provincial agencies to leverage potential opportunities arising from events.
