In order to mobilise partnerships and bring together stakeholders at different stages of the food chain to share information, issues and best practice, a series of food chain excursions will be taking place across the Western Cape.
For the West Coast leg, 110% Green will be visiting various packaging, processing and production facilities in Clanwilliam, Lamberts Bay and Citrusdal focussing on citrus, potatoes and rooibos
The Tour will be attended by various food and food waste related organisations, companies, forums, industry associations, research institutions, agri-producers, food processors, distributors, retailers and waste handlers from the Cederberg Municipality, and relevant stakeholders from Cape Town.
