Food waste has been flagged as a serious global concern, with implications for resource efficiency, food security and lost economic value. In order to build momentum in the Western Cape, the 110% Green Food Forward project will be running a series of food chain tours aimed at facilitating discussion, learning and the sharing of best practice, ideas and resources.
For the last tour of the Food Forward project, 110% Green will be taking a look at the consumer end of the food chain with visits to restuarants and hotels in Cape Town.
