Waste to Food commits to reducing the quantity of food and garden waste being sent to landfill, and to use these to create valuable organic products and opportunities for enterprise development. We will do this by using innovative composting technologies and through the development of a micro-franchise model, that will help provide opportunities for entrepreneurs from our local community. We commit to employ 20+ staff in the first phase of the project, 11 of which will become micro-franchisees. We will aim to double this within the first year of operation and to expand the micro-franchises into food and ornamental plant production.
