Provincial Traffic supports fight against criminal activity

Following a request from the South African Police Service, Western Cape Provincial Traffic Law Enforcement pulled over and stopped a long distance bus on the N1 close to the Winelands Engen 1 Stop on 18 March 2021.

The bus is still being searched but so far SAPS confiscated:

• 1x R5 rifle
• 1x handgun, and
• a substance currently suspected to be cocaine.

So far 5 suspects have been arrested. We are very proud of the work by our officer from our Brackenfell Office in supporting the fight against criminal activity.
