Minister Mitchell returns to West Coast to raise October Transport Month safety awareness
On Tuesday 25 October 2022, the Provincial Minister of Mobility, Daylin Mitchell, will return to the West Coast to conduct various operations in Clanwilliam, Cederberg Municipality.
Minister Mitchell launched October Transport month during an integrated road operation in the West Coast on Sunday 2 October 2022. Tomorrow, the Minister will first conduct a site visit at the Khayelitsha Truck Stop, and open a Junior Traffic Training Centre (JTTC) before joining a joint operation between Cederberg Municipality, SAPS, Provincial Traffic and the Department of Home Affairs.
Minister Mitchell will be joined by officials from the Provincial Regulatory Entity (PRE) and the Registrar’s office who will assist with information regarding reported illegal operations in the municipal area.
