Robertson WCG eCentre
About Robertson WCG eCentre
Robertson is a town in the Cape Winelands Langeberg District. This area is known as the valley of wine and roses, and is part of the Cape wine route. The town became famous for its ostrich farming, but this industry collapsed shortly after World War I, when local farmers of the area switched to wine and fruit farming. Agriculture remains the basis of the town's economy.
The Robertson WCG eCentre, situated in the Thusong Centre in Robertson, was launched on 19 November 2012. It offers free scanning services to the community and assists users in creating e-mail accounts, typing CV's, etc.
The Robertson WCG eCentre assists local people to communicate more effectively with government and communities around the world by providing access to e-mail, internet and various government services.
