We've taken the most important information for emerging contractors and boiled it down into an easy-to-follow booklet FOR YOU. We want to cut the red tape, and help make it easier to do business in the Province! Reducing red tape is an instrument, in helping our province become easier for businesses to compete, and generate revenue as well as sustain jobs! 

So, how did this booklet come to be? Well, it all started with a lightbulb moment at the Department of Infrastructure’s Contractor awareness sessions. They were already hosting platforms and presentations on the Business Support Helpline Service, and other services available to emerging contractors, but they, like us, saw a need for something more comprehensive and accessible.

With Maxine and Ntombi from the Department of Infrastructure’s invaluable advice and insights, we set out to understand the needs of emerging contractors, especially in non-metro areas, says Aeysha Augustus, a Deputy Director in the Red Tape Reduction Unit.

And voila – the booklet was born! A first for the Province, this little gem is packed with everything you need to know about compliance.

"We're passionate about cutting through the red tape," says Aeysha. "We know that accessing information can be a hassle, especially for start-ups. That's why we wanted to make it as easy as possible for emerging contractors to get the info they need."
