About Prince Albert WCG eCentre
Prince Albert is a beautiful town in the Klein Karoo with breathtaking hiking trails and waterfalls. It is also known for its extremely cold winters and very hot summers.
This rural town also runs a recycling project with a difference called Pick-a-Piece, which started in May 2012. Children bring recyclable waste to the centre, where it is sorted and weighed. Each child is awarded points according to the type and weight of the goods they bring. They then redeem their points for basic toiletries, stationery or food items.
The Prince Albert WCG eCentre assists local people to communicate more effectively with government and communities around the world, by providing access to e-mail, internet and various government services.
