Metro Police Women's Network Forum - Social Outreach Initiative in Bishop Lavis

9 May 2006
The Metro Police Women's Network Forum was established in 2004 with the primary aim of realising the Department's social responsibility towards the citizens of Cape Town. Since its establishment, various projects and interventions have been introduced and implemented in an attempt to positively impact on the quality of life of the communities they serve.

On Thursday, 11 May 2006, at 14:00, the Women's Network Forum will adopt the Huis Alleyne Old Age Home, situated in Lenton Drive, Bishop Lavis, as part of its social outreach campaign.

The City's women in uniform will entertain the aged with recreational and cultural activities and spoil them with refreshments and gifts.

"Sinikhathalele - We Care For You" will be the theme for the day.

All media are welcome to attend.
