MEDIA ALERT: INVITATION TO CHRYSALIS ACADEMY FORMAL GRADUATION

Media are invited to attend the formal graduation ceremony of 18 BRAVO on Saturday, 24 November 2018, at the Chrysalis Academy in Tokai. New Minister of Community Safety, Alan Winde will deliver the keynote address.
18 BRAVO, which is the academy’s female course, commenced on 1 September 2018 - 190 students will be graduating. Students come from various communities across the province. Proud families and friends have been invited to attend and are expected to arrive in their hundreds.
Minister Winde will provide details on their future career paths. Each youth who passes through the academy is matched with a paid career opportunity and after-care support.
The purpose of the Chrysalis Academy is to serve as a platform for youth to deepen their resilience and unleash their potential through physical, mental, emotional and spiritual development, enabling them to be role models and agents of positive change.
There will be an opportunity for interviews and photographs.
