Social Development Minister Patricia de Lille will tomorrow morning launch a massive roadblock operation, involving a total of 176 roadblocks throughout the province, designed to track down alleged maintenance defaulters.
Ms De Lille's handing over of 298 warrants of arrest to Chief Director of Traffic Safety Promotion Kenny Africa at the South African Police Station in Delft will signal the start of the first of the integrated roadblocks, which could very well mean the End of the Road for Maintenance Defaulters.
The total monies outstanding in the 298 cases is R2 316 508.
All members of the media are invited to attend.
