City Signs Key Contract with Port of Cape Town

In a major step to streamline business operations at the Port of Cape Town, the City of Cape Town is to set up a co-operative framework with the National Port Authority.

As the hub of all sea-bound import and export of goods to Cape Town and the Western Cape, the port plays a crucial role in the economic development and global market access of Cape Town and the broader Western Cape region.

The symbiotic relationship between the City of Cape Town and the National Port Authority will be sealed with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a Port City Forum.
