City to Honor Western Cape Women in Dignity Awards

City to Honor Western Cape Women in Dignity Awards Executive Mayor Helen Zille will host a tea to honour the Western Cape recipients of the Women Demand Dignity White Ribbon Awards in Cape Town. The awards are part of the activities that surrounded the 16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women and Children in 2006.

A competition was held at the same time asking schools to design a poster about the 16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women and Children. Learners from the three winning schools will also attend this function to be awarded their prizes.
