About Murraysburg WCG eCentre
Nestled in a valley in the Karoo, lies the village of Murraysburg. Framed by the beautiful Sneeuberg mountains on one side and the Buffalo River and stunning Karoo scenery on the other, Murraysburg is a town that time has almost passed by.
It is a town for all seasons, and for all reasons, that captures the essence of the pristine Karoo and its wonderful people. Someone described its special appeal as being more about what it is not, than what it is. We like to think of it as our beautiful secret, and we would like to share our secret with you.
The Murraysburg WCG eCentre was previously referred to as The Eyabantu Community WCG eCentre is centrally situated at the Thusong Service Centre. Eyabantu means “for the people”, a name chosen by one of the first board members, Mr Freddy Davids.
The WCG eCentre name changed in 2013 to Murraysburg WCG eCentre and it assists local people to communicate more effectively with government and communities around the world by providing access to e-mail, internet and various government services.
