What a great honour I had to meet this great man! I served as an ANC marshall at many of the events Madiba attended on the Cape Flats. South Africa and the world has indeed lost a great leader. Sorry to say, no other president in Mzansi will be able to stand in your shoes! You have served your country and movement well and done us proud as South Africans. May your soul Rest In Peace Madiba. We have been blessed with an inspiring and peace loving leader, Tata Madiba. May every South African’s heart be touched to also live the reconciliation and forgiveness, humility and resolute for justice to prevail. May we all realise that it is about reaching out to the other, to make the effort to understand, to acknowledge and to appreciate each other.

I am glad to have lived while you were alive to have experienced what you have invisioned for us as free men. We can only learn from your example to love people period. We only realise the importance of our leaders only when they have fallen. As an individual I learnt to honour you in your presence, adopted your thoughts and your perception to life. Your leadership style has been a benchmark that cannot be erased, thats why your values and your morals will be passed on from generation to generation. Rest in Peace Tatu Madiba. To the Mandela family, My heartfelt condolences to you on the passing of our darling Madiba. The deep sadness and profound sense of loss that I feel cannot I'm sure come close to yours. Thank you for sharing him with South Africa in life and death. Madiba's spirit and will live within me for the rest of life and I pledge to never forget the legacy that he has left us.
