Against the backdrop of Disability Rights Awareness Month, the Minister for Social Development, Sharna Fernandez, will be handing over two new specialised vehicles to the disability sector at the Western Cape Forum for intellectually disabled persons premises (Alexander Hospital in Cape Town).
Travelling around the Province can be challenging if you are a person with a disability and are unable to use the fixed-route transit system. Therefore, as a Department we are committed to promoting inclusivity and accessibility.
