One of the world’s most exclusive car brands will today (7 March 2016) be launching their latest model at a prestigious Western Cape wine estate.
Alan Winde, Minister of Economic Opportunities, said Rolls-Royce would be unveiling their latest model, Dawn, at the Delaire Graff Estate to 150 global media.
“It’s fitting that one of the world’s most iconic motor cars should host its global launch in the Western cape, which is one of the most iconic destinations.
“This is excellent promotion of our province, with the event attracting international media. It’s a great opportunity to showcase our region.”
Minister Winde said the event was excellent news for the tourism sector.
“We know that tourism is our fastest growing sector. It employs 204 000 people in formal jobs. Through Project Khulisa, we have set ourselves the goal of adding up to a further 100 000 jobs to the sector.”
The launch starts today and ends on 25 March.
In a media statement, Rolls-Royce said the upmarket wine estate, offering fine wine and a breath-taking location, was a natural fit for its clients.
