Fantasy adventure wins 2024 Story Stars competition

Durbanville Primary School buzzed with excitement as the winners of the 2024 Story Stars competition were announced. Leading the pack was Anina Walters, known as "Anina Mouse" in her whimsical tale "The Land of Sweets."
Anina's enchanting story, brimming with toffee trees, marshmallow mice and pretzel prisons, earned her the top spot. Her imaginative creation has been transformed into an animated film, featuring her voice and character. Watch it here.
The top three winners, Anina, Isabella Hubbard from Kleinmond Primary School, and Hafsa Ackers from Rustenburg Girls' Primary School, expressed their joy in unleashing their wildest imaginations and creativity while crafting their winning tales. Watch their interviews here.
