What is Tourism Planning?
Tourism planning is the process of considering the needs of people planning a trip and using those factors to determine the best resources, programmes and activities for their trip. Tourism planning is intended for local residents and businesses of the location, as well as tourists who travel there.
Who are we?
The Tourism Planning unit is responsible for developing and coordinating the strategic agenda for the tourism industry in the Western Cape making it easy and convenient for tourists to get here and for the tourism industry to service the needs of tourists.
