Where PSP fits in?
To achieve the vision, goal and objectives of increased employability and improved skills pipeline, the Provincial Skills Partnership model will support the initiatives outlined in the strategy.
The Partnership Model
Our partnership model will support the initiatives outlined in the strategy to achieve the goal and ensure that:
- Youth and the unemployed can make informed choices about their careers and future and are enabled to pursue their career pathways.
- Citizens have easier access to economic opportunities and pathways nearer to the places that they live.
- To have a strong pipeline of suitably qualified people who are employment-ready, able to access available jobs and be absorbed rapidly and sustainably into employment.
- Western Cape school leavers/graduates have a reputation for technical expertise coupled with innovation/creativity/problem-solving and collaboration skills and are highly sought after by employers.
