The Provincial Minister of Mobility, Daylin Mitchell, will tomorrow, Monday 24 October 2022, conduct a road safety awareness campaign at Hermanus Taxi rank in the Overberg District.
The visit forms part of the Minister’s continued drive of raising road safety awareness during October Transport Month. The Minister will use the opportunity to engage taxi operators, drivers, and public transport commuters to ensure that commuters are transported in safety and dignity.
Minister Mitchell will also use the opportunity to encourage operators and commuters to visit the informal exhibition conducted by the Road Safety Management Directorate and distribute pamphlets to travellers who are using the busy taxi rank.
