Malibu High School to receive a donation of IT equipment, furniture, and a facility upgrade from the Provincial Minister of Infrastructure Tertuis Simmers
On Thursday, 18 July 2024, the Provincial Minister of Infrastructure, Tertuis Simmers, will donate IT equipment and furniture to the Malibu High School, in Malibu Village.
This event will form part of the Western Cape Department of Infrastructure’s commitment to addressing the needs and improving the conditions at Malibu High School and the surrounding community. In addition to donating IT equipment and furniture, the department will conduct an education session to promote environmentally friendly behaviour and waste management practices.
Speaking ahead of the event, Minister Simmers said, “I am proud to support Malibu High School with the donation of IT equipment and furniture. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to improving educational facilities and promoting sustainable community practices. By equipping our schools with the necessary tools and knowledge, we are investing in the future of our children and fostering a more environmentally conscious society.”
