About Delft Nex Indawo-Yethu eCentre
Delft is a township on the outskirts of Cape Town, South Africa, established in 1989. Delft is next to the Cape Town International Airport, Belhar, Blue Downs, Ikwezi Park, Mandalay, Luzuko, Phillipi East, and Site C, Khayelitsha. It's well-known for its leisure events, youth empowerment organizations such as the Enkosi Foundation, and a mother body organization, the Delft Community Development Forum.
The community in Delft consist of numerous government-built housing projects like the N2 Gateway.
Delft is a big township, divided into seven places (divisions), namely Delft South (also known as Suburban), Voorbrug, Leiden (Delft Central), Eindhoven, Roosendal, The Hague and the new Symphony section.
The Delft Nex Indawo-Yethu WCG eCentre was established and launched on 20 January 2023. The Western Cape Government (WCG) and its Service Delivery partners, Library Business Corners (LBC) and HOPE Cape Town, are committed to working together and establishing, maintaining, and using a WCG eCentre Programme at the Nex-Indawo Yethu Campus.
Delft Nex Indawo-Yethu WCG eCentre tackles the lack of access to information and communication technologies (ICT) that increases the digital divide and hinders access to government information, services, and skills development opportunities, in Delft and surrounding communities.
